A BILL to amend article nine, chapter sixty-four of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated section nineteen, relating to authorizing the board of medicine to promulgate a legislative rule relating to licensure, disciplinary and complaint procedures, continuing education and physician assistants.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article nine, chapter sixty-four of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section nineteen, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 9. AUTHORIZATION FOR MISCELLANEOUS AGENCIES AND BOARDS TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.

§64-9-19. Board of medicine.
The legislative rule filed in the state register on the twenty-sixth day of July, two thousand two, under the authority of section sixteen, article three, chapter thirty, of this code, modified by the board of medicine to meet the objections of the legislative rule-making review committee and refiled in the state register on the twenty-third day of October, two thousand two, relating to the board of medicine (licensure, disciplinary and complaint procedures, continuing education and physician assistants, 11 CSR 1B), is authorized.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Board of Medicine to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Licensure, Disciplinary and Complaint Procedures, Continuing Education and Physician Assistants.
