A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by
adding thereto a new section, designated §17-2C-7, relating to
roads used by multiple families shall be included in the state
road system.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended
by adding thereto a new section, designated §17-2C-7, to read as
follows:
ARTICLE 2C. ORPHAN ROAD AND BRIDGE ACQUISITION PROGRAM.
§17-2C-7. Roads to be included in state road system.
Notwithstanding section six of this article, roads or bridges
that have been used for at least ten years, serve multiple families
and that are not maintained by any governmental agency shall be
included in the state road system and maintained as stated in
section five of this article.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to include roads that serve
more than one family in the state road system.
