A BILL to amend article twenty-seven, chapter thirty of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated section seventeen, relating to continuation of the board of barbers and cosmetologists .

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article twenty-seven, chapter thirty of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section seventeen, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 27. BOARD OF BARBERS AND COSMETOLOGISTS.
§30-27-17. Continuation of board.
The board of barbers and cosmetologists
shall continue to exist, pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of this code, until the first day of July, two thousand eight, unless sooner terminated, continued or reestablished pursuant to the provisions of that article.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to continue the
Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists until July 1, 2008, pursuant to the West Virginia Sunset Law.
