A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by
adding thereto a new section, designated §17C-15-51, relating
to prohibiting the use of white strobe lights on motor
vehicles.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended
by adding thereto a new section, designated §17C-15-51, to read as
follows:
ARTICLE 15. EQUIPMENT.
§17C-15-51. Use of white strobe lights prohibited.
No motor vehicle, unless otherwise specifically permitted by
another provision in this code, may display or have in use a white
strobe light: Provided, That yellow strobe lights are permitted.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to prohibit the use of
white strobe lights on motor vehicles.
