A BILL to amend the code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by
adding thereto a new section, designated §18-15-1, relating to
changing the name of Concord College to Concord University.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended
by adding thereto a new section, designated §18-15-1, to read as
follows:
ARTICLE 15. CONCORD COLLEGE.
§18-15-1. Continuation and management; and change of name.
The institution known as "Concord College" shall be continued
and known as "Concord University," and wherever the term "Concord
College" may appear in this code, that term shall be considered as
referring to "Concord University."
All things related to the function, conduct and control of the
institution shall remain the same.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to change the name of
Concord College to Concord University.
