A BILL to amend and reenact §29-6-5a of the code of West Virginia,
1931, as amended, relating to continuation of
the
division of
personnel
.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That §29-6-5a of the code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended,
be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 6. CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION.
§29-6-5a. Continuation of division.
Pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of
this code, the The division of personnel shall continue to exist
until the first day of July, two thousand four seven, unless sooner
terminated, continued or reestablished pursuant to the provisions
of article ten, chapter four of this code.

(NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to continue
the
division
of personnel
until July 1, 2007, pursuant to the West Virginia
sunset law. This bill is recommended by the joint committee on
government operations.
