A BILL to amend and reenact §64-6-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the West Virginia State Police to promulgate a legislative rule relating to West Virginia State Police member grievance procedures.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

ARTICLE 6. Authorization for Department of homeland security to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-6-1. West Virginia State Police.

The legislative rule filed in the State Register on July 27, 2023, authorized under the authority of §15-2-6 of this code, relating to the West Virginia State Police (West Virginia State Police member grievance procedures, 81 CSR 08), is authorized.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the West Virginia State Police to promulgate a legislative rule relating to West Virginia State Police member grievance procedures.
