A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the West Virginia Department of Agriculture to promulgate a legislative rule relating to certified pesticide applicator.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

 

ARTICLE 9. Authorization for miscellaneous boards and agencies to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-9-1. West Virginia Department of Agriculture.

The legislative rule filed in the State Register on July 28, 2023, authorized under the authority of §19-16A-4 of this code, modified by the West Virginia Department of Agriculture to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on November 3, 2023, relating to the West Virginia Department of Agriculture (certified pesticide applicator rules, 61 CSR 12A), is authorized.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the West Virginia Department of Agriculture to promulgate a legislative rule relating to certified pesticide applicator.
