SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 52

Requesting the Division of Highways rename the Watson Bridge in
Marion County the "Watson Senior Citizens Bridge" in honor of
Jim Costello.
Whereas, Jim Costello, a resident of Marion County, served in
World War II, worked as a coal miner and was a supervisor with the
Division of Highways; and
Whereas, As a supervisor with the Division of Highways, he
oversaw the rebuilding of the Watson Bridge; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Legislature hereby requests the Division of Highways
rename the Watson Bridge in Marion County the "Watson Senior
Citizens Bridge" in honor of Jim Costello; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Division of Highways is hereby
requested to have made and be placed signs identifying the bridge
as the "Watson Senior Citizens Bridge"; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk of the Senate is hereby
directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Marion County
Commission.
