CHARLESTON – Senator Charles Clements, R-Wetzel, returned to the West Virginia Senate last week after being diagnosed with multiple myeloma.
Clements will continue to receive treatment throughout the session at CAMC Cancer Center in Charleston. Receiving care at CAMC will allow Senator Clements to continue to be active during the legislative session and serve the people of his district as he was appointed to do.
“I sincerely appreciate all of the messages of support and prayers that have poured in to both me and my family as we learn to navigate life with cancer,” Senator Clements said. “I feel optimistic about my future, and I am excited to be back at work for my district. I look forward to continuing to serve the residents of the Second Senatorial District during this critical legislative session and beyond.”
