Delegate Linville Announces USDA Roundtable Discussion on Funding Options for Development Projects

MILTON, W.Va. – Delegate Daniel Linville, R-Cabell, today invited the public and local officials to attend a roundtable discussion Wednesday afternoon at the Milton City Hall with representatives of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, who will discuss federal funding options for local development projects.

Kris Warner, Director of USDA Office of Rural Development, and his staff will join with local elected officials, county administrators and public and private sector leaders to discuss the programs and federal funding options available for water and sewer projects, economic development opportunities, single and multi-family housing units and other initiatives.

The USDA Office of Rural Development has a substantial budget dedicated to helping communities grow, and Delegate Linville said he wants to encourage local officials and the public to take full advantage of the agency’s programs.

The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Milton City Hall, located at 1139 Smith Street. For more information on the USDA Office of Rural Development’s programs, visit their website.
