Charleston, WV - The recently formed subcommittee of the Joint Legislative Committee on Flooding will meet at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, in the Senate Judiciary Committee Room (208W).
The subcommittee was formed to address issues and priorities related to Hazard Mitigation Grant funding from the 2016 floods. Michael Todorovich, director of the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and Brian Abraham, general counsel for the Governor’s Office, are expected to attend to brief members of the subcommittee. Subcommittee members are Senator Craig Blair, R-Berkeley; Senator Greg Boso, R-Nicholas; Senator Glenn Jeffries, D-Putnam; Delegate Jeff Campbell, D-Greenbrier; Delegate Caleb Hanna, R-Webster; and Delegate Dean Jeffries, R-Kanawha.
