CHARLESTON, WV – Senate President Jeff Kessler (D-Marshall) says he supports a ban on texting while driving and is positive it will be passed by the Senate.
SB 211 – the texting bill – is on second reading in the Senate Friday. The bill makes texting while driving a primary offense and talking on a hand-held device a secondary one. Senate President Kessler says both activities leave a driver impaired.
