What is Redistricting?

The redrawing of West Virginia's Congressional and Legislative boundry lines. This must be accomplished using U.S. Census data every 10 years to indicate changes in population.

On August 1st, 2011, Senate Resolution 103 created the 17-member, bi-partisan Select Committee on Redistricting, chaired by Senate Majority Leader John Unger II.
