A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by
adding thereto a new section, designated §3-1-47, relating to
a requirement that election officials, poll clerks and poll
workers must vote in the precincts where they are registered.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended
by adding thereto a new section, designated §3-1-47, to read as
follows:
ARTICLE 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS AND DEFINITIONS.
§3-1-47. Voting of election officials, poll clerks and poll
workers.
Those persons who serve as election officials, poll clerks and
poll workers who are entitled to vote pursuant to the provisions of
this chapter must cast their ballots in the precincts where they
are registered to vote.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to require election
officials, poll clerks and poll workers to vote in the precincts
where they are registered to vote.
