A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by
adding thereto a new section, designated §30-10-20, relating
to continuation of
the
Board of Veterinary Medicine.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended
by adding thereto a new section, designated §30-10-20, to read as
follows:
ARTICLE 10. VETERINARIANS.
§30-10-20. Continuation of the Board of Veterinary Medicine.
The Board of Veterinary Medicine shall continue to exist,
pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of this
code, until the first day of July, two thousand seven, unless
sooner terminated, continued or reestablished by Act of the
Legislature.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to continue
the
Board of
Veterinary Medicine
until July 1, 2007, pursuant to the West
Virginia Sunset Law.
This bill was recommended for passage by the Joint Committee
on Government Operations.
