A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by
adding thereto a new section, designated §7-1-3oo, relating to
the grant of authority of county commissions to regulate and
restrict the location of any premises in which a limited video
lottery retailer has a license.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended
by adding thereto a new section, designated §7-1-3oo, to read as
follows:
ARTICLE 1. COUNTY COMMISSIONS GENERALLY.
§7-1-3oo. Authority of county commissions to regulate and restrict
locations of premises in which a limited video lottery
retailer holds a license.
Notwithstanding the provisions of section one thousand nine
hundred two, article twenty-two-b, chapter twenty-nine,
a county
commission may provide by ordinance for regulation and restriction
of the location of any premises in which a limited video lottery
retailer holds a license.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to allow a county
commission to provide by ordinance for regulation and restriction
of the location of any premises in which a limited video lottery
retailer holds a license.
§7-1-3oo is new; therefore, strike-throughs and underscoring
have been omitted.
