A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §5A-1-10, relating to collection of a fee from certain special revenue accounts.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated §5A-1-10, to read as follow:

ARTICLE 1. Department of Administration.

§5A-1-10.  Collection of fees from special revenue accounts; disposition of funds.


The secretary shall assess and collect annually a five percent administrative fee from each special revenue account which does not receive federal funds or pension funds, and shall deposit money from the fees into the General Revenue Fund.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to require the Secretary of Administration to assess and collect a fee of five percent annually from certain special revenue funds and to deposit the funds into the General Revenue Fund.
