A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by
adding thereto a new section, designated §17-3-11, relating to
banning the use of nonorganic herbicides within state roads
rights-of-way.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended
by adding thereto a new section, designated §17-3-11, to read as
follows:
ARTICLE 3. STATE ROAD FUND.
§17-3-11. Herbicide use along interstate highways.
No nonorganic herbicide may be used for maintenance purposes
within the rights-of-way of the state road system.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to prohibit the use of
nonorganic herbicides within state roads rights-of-way.
