A BILL to ensure the safety of school children crossing the exceptionally dangerous intersections of U.S. Route 60 and Witchers Creek, Kanawha County and U.S. Route 60 at Diamond, Kanawha County, by requiring the division of highways to install traffic control signals at both locations.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
WITCHERS CREEK TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE
§1 Installation of traffic control signal at the intersections of U.S. Route 60 and Witchers Creek, Kanawha County, and U.S. Route 60 at Diamond, Kanawha County.
The Division of Highways shall install a electric traffic control signals,
exhibiting red, yellow and green lights successively one at a time , at the intersection of U.S. Route 60 and Witchers Creek, Kanawha County, and at U.S. Route 60 in Diamond, Kanawha County for the purpose of regulating, warning, and guiding traffic .

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to ensure the safety of school children crossing the exceptionally dangerous intersections of U.S. Route 60 and Witchers Creek, Kanawha County and U.S. Route 60 at Diamond, Kanawha County, by requiring the division of highways to install traffic lights at both locations.

§1 is new; therefore, strike-throughs and underscoring have been omitted.
