A BILL to repeal §44-10-4 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to the rights of minors to nominate guardians.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
 ARTICLE 10. GUARDIANS AND WARDS GENERALLY.
 §
.1. Repeal of section relating to rights of minors to nominate guardians.

§44-10-4 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, is hereby repealed.



NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to repeal §44-10-4 of the Code, thereby eliminating the right of minors to nominate guardians in estate and trust court proceedings.
