A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by
adding thereto a new section, designated §20-2-5h, relating to
permitting Sunday hunting on licensed shooting preserves.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended
by adding thereto a new section, designated §20-2-5h, to read as
follows:
ARTICLE 2. WILDLIFE RESOURCES.
§20-2-5h. Sunday hunting on licensed shooting preserves;
exemption.
Notwithstanding any provision in this code that restricts
Sunday hunting, hunting on Sundays is permitted for those
individuals lawfully hunting on licensed hunting preserves
:
Provided, That the hunter has obtained all the appropriate licenses
and permits.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to permit Sunday hunting on
licensed shooting preserves.
§20-2-5h is new; therefore, strike-throughs and underscoring
have been omitted.
