A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Board of Acupuncture to promulgate a legislative rule relating to consideration of prior criminal convictions in initial licensure determinations.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


ARTICLE 9. Authorization for miscellaneous agencies and boards to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-9-1. Board of Acupuncture.

The legislative rule filed in the State Register on September 24, 2019, authorized under the authority of §30-1-24 of this code, modified by the Board of Acupuncture to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on November 14, 2019, relating to the Board of Acupuncture (consideration of prior criminal convictions in initial licensure determinations, 32 CSR 16), is authorized.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Board of Acupuncture to promulgate a legislative rule relating to consideration of prior criminal convictions in initial licensure determinations.
