CHARLESTON – The Joint Select Committee on Tax Reform will meet at 9 a.m. August 17 in the House Government Organization Committee Room (Room 215-E) at the Capitol.
Morning sessions include: • 9 a.m.: Personal and Business Income Tax Overview – Mark Muchow, Deputy Secretary, West Virginia Department of Revenue; Mark Morton, General Counsel, West Virginia State Tax Division • 10:30 a.m.: Tax Credits Overview – Mark Muchow, Deputy Secretary, West Virginia Department of Revenue; Mark Morton, General Counsel, West Virginia State Tax Division
Afternoon sessions include: • 1 p.m.: Effective Use of Business Tax Credits – The Honorable Keith Burdette, Secretary, West Virginia Department of Commerce • 2:45 p.m.: Earned Income Tax Credit – Dr. John Deskins, Director, Bureau of Business and Economic Research, West Virginia University Meeting agendas and presentations are subject to change.
