A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §18A‑4‑22, relating to salary increase for school personnel.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated §18A‑4‑22, to read as follows:

ARTICLE 4.  SALARIES, WAGES AND OTHER BENEFITS.

§18A‑4‑22.  Salary increase for school personnel.

Beginning July 1, 2015, all school personnel, including, but not limited to, teachers, service personnel and retired teachers shall receive a six percent salary increase.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to give all school personnel a six percent salary increase.

This section is new; therefore, it has been completely underscored.
