A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by
adding thereto a new section, designated §30-27-18, relating
to authorizing the Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists to
increase fees for one year.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended
by adding thereto a new section, designated §30-27-18, to read as
follows:
ARTICLE 27. BOARD OF BARBERS AND COSMETOLOGISTS.
§30-27-18. Limited fee increase.
Notwithstanding the fees set forth in this article, the Board
of Barbers and Cosmetologists is hereby authorized to increase the
fees it assesses under the provisions of this article. The fee
increase is for one year, commencing the first day of July, two
thousand eight. Each increased fee may not exceed one hundred dollars.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize a Board of
Barbers and Cosmetologists to increase fee for one year.
