A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §48-9-605, relating to permitting parents to petition the court for visitation on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


ARTICLE 9. ALLOCATION OF CUSTODIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND DECISION-MAKING RESPONSIBILITY OF CHILDREN.


§48-9-605. Visitation on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.

A child’s mother may petition the court for visitation on Mother’s Day and the father may petition the court for visitation on Father’s Day.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to permit parents to petition the court for visitation on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
