A BILL to amend and reenact section eight, article three, chapter
five-a of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine
hundred thirty-one, as amended, relating to the inclusion of
parochial schools and home based schools in the facilities
available to local governmental bodies.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That section eight, article three, chapter five-a of the
code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 3. PURCHASING DIVISION.
§5A-3-8. Facilities of division available to local governmental
bodies.
The director shall make available the facilities and
services of his division to counties, county schools,
parochial
schools, home based schools, municipalities, urban mass
transportation authorities, created pursuant to articletwenty-seven, chapter eight of this code, mass transportation
divisions of county and municipal governments, voluntary fire
departments, and other local governmental bodies within this
state. The actual expenses incurred thereby shall be paid by the
local governmental body.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to make available to
parochial schools and home based schools the facilities and
services of the purchasing division of Finance and
Administration.
