A BILL to amend article three, chapter five of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated section two-a, relating to the discretion of the attorney general to attend to the criminal business of the state in any court thereof.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

That article three, chapter five of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section two-a, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 3. ATTORNEY GENERAL.

§ 5-3-2a. Discretion to attend to criminal business of the state in any court thereof.

The attorney general shall have the discretion to attend to the criminal business of the state in any court of the state.




NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to grant the attorney general the discretion to attend to the criminal business of the state in any court of the state.
