Haskins and Leggett:
H. C. R. 8--"Providing for a more productive use of West
Virginia Education Information System (WVEIS) by the State
Department of Education by eliminating excess paperwork and
relieving the county boards of education from providing hard
copies of information that is accessible through the WVEIS."
Resolved by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That when information to be distributed by the county boards
of education is accessible through the WVEIS, such information
shall not be duplicated by providing a hard copy to the State
Department of Education; and that the Legislature hereby
expressly encourages the use of the WVEIS by the State Department
of Education in order to reduce burdensome duplication of excess
paperwork; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk forward a copy of this
resolution to the State Superintendent of Schools.
