A BILL to amend and reenact section thirteen, article two, chapter five-b of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, relating to continuing the tourism commission under the West Virginia development office.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That section thirteen, article two, chapter five-b of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 2. WEST VIRGINIA DEVELOPMENT OFFICE.

§5B-2-13. Continuation.
Pursuant to the provisions of chapter four, article ten of this code, the tourism commission shall continue to exist until the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred ninety nine two thousand five.

(Note: The purpose of this bill is to continue the Tourism Commission within the West Virginia Development Office until July 1, 2005, pursuant to the provisions of the West Virginia Sunset Law.

This bill is recommended by the Joint Committee on Government Organization for passage during the 1999 Regular Session of the Legislature.)
