A BILL to amend article thirteen, chapter eleven of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated section two-f, relating to business and occupation tax; and providing an aerospace services classification.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article thirteen, chapter eleven of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section two- f, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 13. BUSINESS AND OCCUPATION TAX.

§11-13-2f. Business of aerospace services.

Upon every person engaging or continuing within this state in the business of sales of aircraft repair, remodeling, maintenance, modification and refurbishing services to any aircraft or to an engine or other component part of any aircraft and sales of tangible personal property that is permanentlyaffixed or permanently attached as a component part of any aircraft or engine as a part of the repair, remodeling, maintenance, modification and refurbishing service of any aircraft or engine, the tax imposed by section two of this article shall be equal to the value of the sales as shown by the gross proceeds derived from the sales thereof by that person multiplied by the rate of ten one hundredths of one percent.
