A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Board of Medicine to promulgate a legislative rule relating to waiver of initial licensing fees for certain initial licensure applicants.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

ARTICLE 9. Authorization for miscelleaneous agencies and boards to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-9-1. Board of Medicine.

The legislative rule filed in the State Register on July 25, 2019, authorized under the authority of §30-1-23 of this code, modified by the Board of Medicine to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on October 8, 2019, relating to the Board of Medicine (waiver of initial licensing fees for certain initial licensure applicants, 11 CSR 13), is authorized.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Board of Medicine to promulgate a legislative rule relating to waiver of initial licensing fees for certain initial licensure applicants.
