A BILL to transfer land located on lower Mud river in Carroll
district of Lincoln County from the department of
agriculture of the state of West Virginia to the Lincoln
County commission.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
LAND TRANSFER TO LINCOLN COUNTY COMMISSION.
§1. Land transfer; description.
The department of agriculture of the state of West Virginia
shall transfer to the Lincoln County commission, without
consideration, the parcel of land on the lower Mud river road in
Carroll district of Lincoln County described as follows:
Beginning at an iron stake a distance of 15 feet southeast
of a culvert under the state road on lower Mud river, said stake being in the southwest right-of-way line of said road; thence in
a straight line in a southwesterly direction a distance of 765
feet to an iron stake; thence N. 80° 30' W. 440 feet to an iron
stake; thence N. 87° 30' E. 700 feet to an iron stake in the
right-of-way line of said state road; thence with the right-of- way line of said road N. 63° 05' E. 226.6 feet to a stake; S. 22°
00' E. 68.6 feet to a stake; thence continuing with the right-of- way line of said road in a southeasterly direction a distance of
219 feet to the place of beginning, containing eight acres, more
or less.
