AN ACT expiring funds to the unappropriated surplus balance in the
state fund, general revenue, for the fiscal year ending the
thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred ninety-eight,
in the amount of four million dollars from the abandoned
property claims trust, account no. fund 1324, fiscal year
1998, organization 1300, activity 099.
Whereas, The Legislature finds that the account balance in the
abandoned property claims trust, account no. fund 1324, fiscal year
1998, organization 1300, activity 099, exceeds that which is
necessary for the purposes for which the account was established;
therefore
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the balance of funds available for expenditure in the
fiscal year ending the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine
hundred ninety-eight, to the abandoned property claims trust, account no. fund 1324, fiscal year 1998, organization 1300,
activity 099, be decreased by expiring the amount of four million
dollars to the unappropriated surplus balance of the state fund,
general revenue, to be available for further and additional
appropriation.
The purpose of this bill is to expire the sum of four million
dollars from the abandoned property claims trust, account no. fund
1324, fiscal year 1998, organization 1300, activity 099, to the
unappropriated surplus balance in the state fund, general revenue,
for the fiscal year ending the thirtieth day of June, one thousand
nine hundred ninety-eight, to be available for further and
additional appropriation.
