SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 34

Requesting the West Virginia parkway authority name bridge number 3067 at exit 74 of the West Virginia turnpike in memory of Bobby Lee Miller and Homer Ray Brogan.

Whereas, On July 7, 1979, two employees of the West Virginia turnpike, Bobby Lee Miller and Homer Ray Brogan, were killed in a tragic accident near tunnel hill; and
Whereas, It is fitting to remember Bobby Lee Miller and Homer Ray Brogan who died in the performance of their duty while working as employees of the West Virginia turnpike; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby requests the West Virginia parkway authority to name bridge number 3067 at exit 74 of the West Virginia turnpike the "Bobby Lee Miller and Homer Ray Brogan Memorial Bridge"; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the general manager of the West Virginia parkway authority.
