A BILL to amend and reenact article 6, chapter 64 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Regional Jail and Correctional Facility Authority to promulgate a legislative rule relating to criteria and procedures for the determination of the projected cost per day for inmates incarcerated in regional jails and operated by the Authority.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article 6, chapter 64 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 6. AUTHORIZATION FOR DEPARTMENT OF MILITARY AFFAIRS AND
PUBLIC SAFETY TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-6-1. Regional Jail and Correctional Facility Authority.

The legislative rule filed in the state register on the twenty-eighth day of July, two thousand six, authorized under the authority of section ten, article twenty, chapter thirty-one, of this code, modified by the Regional Jail and Correctional Facility Authority to meet the objections of the legislative rule-making review committee and refiled in the state register on the eighteenth day of January, two thousand seven, relating to the Regional Jail and Correctional Facility Authority (criteria and procedures for determination of projected cost per day for inmates incarcerated in regional jails operated by the Authority, 94 CSR 7), is authorized.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Regional Jail and Correctional Facility Authority to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Criteria and Procedures for the Determination of the Projected Cost per Day for Inmates Incarcerated in Regional Jails Operated by the Authority.
