A BILL to repeal §7-7-6d of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to collection of head taxes on dogs; duties of assessor and sheriff; disposition of head tax; and taxes on dogs not collected by assessor.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That §7-7-6d of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 7. COMPENSATION OF ELECTED COUNTY OFFICIALS.
§1. Repeal of section relating to collection of head taxes on dogs; duties of assessor and sheriff; disposition of head tax; taxes on dogs not collected by assessor.

§7-7-6d of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, is hereby repealed.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to repeal §7-7-6d regarding head taxes on dogs.
