Hutchins, Jenkins, Susman, Smirl, McGraw and Thompson)




Amending Rule No. 136a of the Rules of the House relating to smoking and the use of tobacco products in the House chamber .

Resolved by the House of Delegates:
That effective three days from the adoption of this resolution, Rule No. 136a of the House of Delegates be amended to read as follows:
Smoking and Use of Tobacco Products Prohibited
136a. Smoking and the use of tobacco products are prohibited in the House chamber and House galleries during sessions and in House committee rooms during committee meetings or public hearings. Provided, That smoking and the use of tobacco products by members shall be allowed in the vestibule of the chamber.
