A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §17A-3-14a, relating to providing an extension for members of the West Virginia Bar Association to apply for special motor vehicle registration plates.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated §17A-3-14a, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 3. ORIGINAL AND RENEWAL OF REGISTRATION; ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES OF TITLE.

§17A-3-14a. Extension for applying for West Virginia Bar Association plates.

Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (d), section fourteen of this article, the time limitations for members of the West Virginia Bar Association to submit the minimum number of applications with checks for the special plates authorized in subdivision (49), subsection (c), section fourteen of this article, is extended to the second day of January, two thousand eight.



NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to provide an extension for members of the West Virginia Bar Association to apply for special motor vehicle registration plates.
