AN ACT making a supplementary appropriation of Lottery Net Profits
from the balance of moneys remaining as an unappropriated
balance in Lottery Net Profits to the Bureau of Senior
Services - Lottery Senior Citizens Fund, fund 5405, fiscal
year 2008, organization 0508, by supplementing and amending
the appropriations for the fiscal year ending the thirtieth
day of June, two thousand eight.
WHEREAS, The Governor submitted to the Legislature the
Executive Budget Document, dated the ninth day of January, two
thousand eight, containing a Statement of the Lottery Net Profits,
setting forth therein the cash balance as of the first day of July,
two thousand seven, and further included the estimate of revenues
for the fiscal year two thousand eight, less net appropriations;
and
WHEREAS, It appears from the Governor's Statement of Lottery
Net Profits there now remains an unappropriated balance which is
available for appropriation during the fiscal year ending the
thirtieth day of June, two thousand eight; therefore
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the total appropriation for the fiscal year ending the
thirtieth day of June, two thousand eight, to fund
5405, fiscal
year 2008, organization 0508, be supplemented and amended by
increasing an existing item of appropriation as follows:

Any unexpended balances remaining in the appropriations for
Silver Haired Legislature (fund 5405, activity 202) and In-Home
Services and Nutrition for Senior Citizens (fund 5405, activity
917) at the close of fiscal year two thousand eight are hereby
reappropriated for expenditure during the fiscal year two thousand nine.
The purpose of this supplementary appropriation bill is to
supplement, amend and increase an item of appropriation in the
aforesaid account for the designated spending unit for expenditure
during the fiscal year two thousand eight.
