A BILL to amend the code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by
adding thereto a new section, designated §30-22-5a, relating
to board of landscape architects; and authorizing the board to
set fees by rule.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended
by adding thereto a new section, designated §30-22-5a, to read as
follows:
ARTICLE 22. LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS.
§30-22-5a. Fees.
(a) The board is authorized to set all fees imposed by the
board by rule, proposed for legislative approval in accordance with
the provisions of article three, chapter twenty-nine-a of this
code.
(b) The fees imposed on the first day of July, two thousand two, shall remain in effect until the new fees have been set in
rule. No emergency rule may be proposed.
(c) After the new fees have been set by rule, the fees
specifically set out in this article shall no longer apply.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to provide that the board
of landscape architects set fees by rule.
