A BILL to amend and reenact article 6, chapter 64 of the code of
West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the
fire marshal to promulgate a legislative rule relating to the
certification of electrical inspectors.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article 6, chapter 64 of the code of West Virginia, 1931,
as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 6. AUTHORIZATION FOR DEPARTMENT OF MILITARY AFFAIRS AND
PUBLIC SAFETY TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-6-1. Fire Marshal.
The legislative rule filed in the state register on the
eighteenth day of February, two thousand three, authorized under
the authority of section four, article three-c, chapter twenty-
nine, of this code, modified by the fire marshal to meet the
objections of the legislative rule-making review committee and
refiled in the state register on the eighteenth day of June, two thousand three, relating to the fire marshal (certification of
electrical inspectors, 103 CSR 1), is authorized.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Fire
Marshal to promulgate a legislative rule relating to the
Certification of Electrical Inspectors.
