A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by
adding thereto a new section, designated §24F-1-1a, relating
to
guaranteeing that honorably discharged veterans are
afforded the opportunity to have bronze military grave markers
placed on their graves.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended
by adding thereto a new section, designated §24F-1-1a, to read as
follows:
ARTICLE 1. VETERANS' GRAVE MARKERS.
§24F-1-1a. Honorably discharged; bronze military grave markers.
An honorably discharged veteran shall not be denied the
opportunity to have a bronze military grave marker placed on his or
her gravesite.

(NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to guarantee honorably
discharged veterans the opportunity to have bronze military grave
markers placed on their graves.
