SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 60

Requesting the Division of Highways name the bridge at Route 129 and 39 at Drennen, Nicholas County, the "Lee Tucker Memorial Bridge".

Whereas, Lee Tucker was a resident of Nicholas County and served as a member of the Nicholas County Democratic Executive Committee; and

Whereas, Lee Tucker was the Chief of the Keslers Cross Lanes Volunteer Fire Department; and

Whereas, Lee Tucker is fondly remembered by the people of his county as a man ready and willing to help anyone in need; and

Whereas, It is a fitting tribute to Lee Tucker that this bridge be named in his memory; therefore, be it

Resolved by the Legislature of West Virginia:

That the Division of Highways is hereby requested to name the bridge at Route 129 and 39 at Drennen, Nicholas County, the "Lee Tucker Memorial Bridge"; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the Division of Highways is requested to have made and be placed, at either end of the bridge, signs identifying the bridge as the "Lee Tucker Memorial Bridge"; and be it

Further resolved, That the Clerk of the Senate is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Secretary of Transportation and the family of Lee Tucker.
