SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 34

Redd, McCabe, Boley, Edgell, Kessler, Helmick, Jackson, Walker,
Dittmar, Minear, Deem and Tomblin, Mr. President)
Requesting the Governor proclaiming the first week in June as "West
Virginia Garden Week".
Whereas, The West Virginia Garden Club, Inc., is requesting
the first week of June be named "West Virginia Garden Week"; and
Whereas, Many other surrounding states have a garden week;
therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby requests the Governor proclaim the
first week in June as "West Virginia Garden Week"; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward
a copy of this resolution to the Governor and the West Virginia
Garden Club, Inc.
